At the Airport
First of all, WELCOME TO STOCKHOLM!!! We are excited to have you here!
We will be waiting for you from 10:00 to 15:00 at the Arlanda Airport and direct you to buses which will take you to the city center. You should receive the tickets by Saturday evening by email, if you did not, please check the SPAM folder and contact us! You can find the bus schedule here!
At the Central Station
The bus will take you to T-Centralen (Central Station). From there, you will have to take public transportation (we recommend the metro) to your hotel. You can easily check the connection via Google Maps or SL App.
Metro tickets: you do not need to buy metro tickets! Instead, use your debit/credit card directly when entering the metro. You can also you Google Pay or Apply Pay. You can find more information here!
If you are staying in Arcadia Hotel, you should take a red line toward Moby Centrum and exit at Tekniska högskolan.
If you are staying in Elite Palace Hotel you should get off at Norra Stationsgatan with the airport bus towards Central Station, the hotel is right there(Please don't forget to ask the driver to stop at that station). In case you miss the stop and exit at T-Centralen, you should take any of the green lines going to the north and exit at Odenplan.
If you are tired of sitting you can also take a walk and enjoy the sun! Both places are about 20 min walking from T-Centralen.
At the hotel
You are going to spend the first night at one of the hotels in the center of Stockholm. We carefully chose the most convenient locations so you will be very close to evening activities. We will be waiting for you at the hotels from 11:00 to 16:00 and will help you to check-in and settle down!
Evening Activities
We are planning the dinner for all the participants near KTH at the place called Fågelängens. The dinner starts at 18:00. After that, we will be boarding the Ocean Bus Stockholm at 20:00 and it will take us on a tour around Stockholm. We will board next to the restaurant, so in case you arrive late and cannot make it for the dinner, you can still join the tour! The tour will be both on land and on water. The tour takes about one hour and we should be back at KTH at around 21:00.
